Twelve Stones employs a school-nurse who liaisons with govt entities, advises the board on health-related policies, and cares for the students. Records, exemptions, or other documentation as required is securely maintained at school.
Twelve Stones reduced class sizes and implemented stricter cohorting during the 2020-2021 school year. We seek to implement policy-based strategies so students experience minimal impact. Guidelines from the Colorado Department of Health and Environment and the Colorado Department of Education are examples of considerations we balance with student needs.
We love parents to be involved. Classroom opportunities are communicated by the teacher. There are many schoolwide opportunities that depend on parental leadership.
